Centralized for-profit social networks failed us. We became disconnected and addicted to attention, trading our privacy in exchange. Endless notifications and doomscrolling overwhelm us. Our social feeds are filled with toxic ideologies from the shameful past and wild conspiracy theories that are designed to blur the line between truth and lies. We are witnessing a mental health crisis across the globe, the rise of narcissism and fascism, and sadly crumbling democracies.
Blogging platforms are bloated with unnecessary fancy features. The subscription culture bleeds our wallets empty. The joy of writing is lost and traded for having the latest tech nonsense under our fingertips.
There has to be a way to communicate and share our thoughts with each other without depending on social networks. A pure RSS blog to share what's on our mind in a discreet, elegant way and an RSS reader to enjoy reading without pressure to catch up whenever we feel like.
