Global ideas for Kraa
Editor Ideas
An insertion cursor for each person on an editor.
In Kraa, you can't see who is typing where. (I'm assuming.) I opened two tabs with the same leaf, and I didn't see a way to identify which tab was typing what. Perhaps a blinking cursor the colour of that user, and if clicked, it brings up info about them.
Insert from Kvak.io. I've been using Kvak.io for a while now; then Kraa was released, and it was a lot better. I didn't want to copy everything from kvak.io (I'm lazy), so maybe have a button for this? You could select the note name, give the password, and then get what you need to.
Make an actual homepage rather than a button that's just there. The button can stay for easy, quick access, but maybe in a homepage, there could be links to popular visited leaves, advertising centers, etc.
What exactly does Everyone And Searchable do? I tried searching for something in the search bar built into Kraa and didn't see much come up other than leaves I had already visited. Does it make it visible in search engines or the actual search bar in Kraa?
A full-screen immersive mode. (suggested by Anon Woodcock) Technically, your browser already has this (fn + f11), or just use the built-in browser fullscreen option often in options for a website. (chrome has the 3 dots menu on the right; Opera Stable has it on the left.) It would be nice to have this built in, however.
External Ideas (outside Kraa) (I get it if you can't do these. They seem hard.
An API. Maybe you could use this API to create a new note from a website, to insert info, change items (if the password is given, of course), etc. (etc. stands for End of Thinking Capacity)
The API could have a free version and a paid version. (I know you are working on Kraa Pro.)
An app? (Harder, but could definitely expand Kraa)
Insertion cursor—this is a deliberate choice for now. We want to keep the UI as clutter-free as possible, though we do plan to make it easier to see where new edits happened (both live and later). I see what you mean. The point of Kraa is just a note-taking web app, shared board, etc. But it's an interesting feature, and you could add it as an optional setting in Appearance.
Import from kvak.io—almost impossible for us to do at this point, sorry! Ok. Just wondering!
Homepage—you mean the one at kraa.io/about? If you scroll down, there are links to example leaves. Yeah, I see now. (I originally didn't scroll all the way down when I saw.)
Later on we plan to have a nice 'public' hub (click on the KRAA logo) that will show a proper feed of popular leaves and leaves from people you follow (as well as searching in public content across KRAA). Nice! (Also, I had an idea of running custom JS on leaves, but thats dangerous with privacy stuff, I think.)
Everyone is searchable—this is to mark the leaf as 'public'. Right now it's a very hidden feature but will be important and properly shown later on. (If you search with a dot prefix, you can already see it working... e.g., '.insidekick') The "." putting it before changed something, but I'm not quite sure what.
An API is a good idea and something we are thinking about. Not a priority right now, though. Ok! kraa.io still works in embedded view (please don't change that).
Mobile apps will come quite soon, hopefully by the end of this year. Nice! An app would help to easily make a note (correction: "leaf", I'm sorry) anywhere. (could have an offline mode, so it wouldn't need internet connection to sync)
A full-screen immersive option
The "." putting it before changed something, but I'm not quite sure what.
Right now there isn't much public content yet. So this is a feature that will be important later on.
